6 cups diced, peeled apples
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. butter
1 package (about 1.75 oz.) fruit pectin
3 cups sugar

  • Step 1. In a large kettle combine the apples, water and butter.
  • Step 2, Cook and stir over low heat until apples are soft.
  • And now, Stir in pectin and bring to a rolling boil; stirring constantly.
